Maine State Medical Marijuana Reciprocity
Recently Maine expanded its medical program by allowing out of state medical users to purchase medicine from Maine distributors. We have been very happy to see new faces and help out-of-state patients get their medicine while far away from home—but we can’t help everyone. According to Maine Cannabis Lawyers, while most states’ medical programs now have reciprocity in Maine, there are still a few that are not on that list.
While we would love to be able to provide quality medicine to every patient regardless of their home state, rules are rules and we are in it for the long haul—which means doing everything by the book, including following laws that may seem silly. Why can’t we serve patients from every state? It has to do with the information your state provides Maine DHS. Hopefully with federal legalization on the horizon communication between states improves, but until then
Here are the states that have reciprocity in Maine:
Alaska
Arizona
Arkansas
California
Connecticut
Florida
Hawaii
Illinois
Iowa
Maryland
Massachusetts
Michigan
Minnesota
Montana
Nevada
New Hampshire
New Jersey
New Mexico
New York

Oregon
Rhode Island
Vermont

Washington DC
